Water spots on windows

Hey guys,

I have some tough water spots on my windows that i cannot get rid off. I tried scrubbing it, using all kinds of cleaning products but they won't come off. Does anyone have any suggestions on removing water spots? Thanks in advance.

Have you tried a clay bar? That always worked for me.

What exactly is a clay bar? How do you use it? Does it scratch the window?

Meguiar's ScratchX used as the lubrication with the clay bar
(instead of the most commonly used such as car wash soap and/or detail spray).

I know that doesnt sound right...but thats what worked for me lmao.

Yea I advise using either Meguiars X on teh windows cause that stuff does wonders for my headlights. Either that or even try using Goo Gone. Stuff rubs off all kinds of tough ****.

I think I read somewhere that vinegar gets them off. I've never tried it though.

I'm usually able to make mine go away by waxing the glass with a cleaner wax.

I was just reading about this on Autopia, clay bar (found at better autoparts houses) is supposed to fix this. Then you can clay the whole car for that show car finish!

Don't know what it would do to your clear coat, so I'd keep it away from your painted surfaces.

Vinegar contains Acetic acid. That's what dissolves the stains.
