Question SSV on bose

what is SSV on bose radio and what does it do ?

and what is the best setting for sound ?

It stands for sound sensing volume and its supposed to raise the volume the faster you drive to account for higher roadnoise. I dont notice it though and its on high for me

i turned it off cuz i could notice when i came to a stop when gettin off the freeway that my music got a lot quiter and i didnt like that.

i notice it tremendously, when its on high the music gets too loud after 60 mph

Speed Sensitive Volume. Radio gets louder as you go faster, to combat road noise on the hwy. I set mine to high. Only way i really notice a difference.

yes all you do is settings SSV down tell it say off

It's awfull, and it never works right. I was always adjusting volume before I figured out you can turn it off.

speed sensitive volume or sound sensitive volume. as you speed up the radio adjust for outside noise. on HI - means the radio will get a lot louder when you are going faster. Mid - not as loud, Low - not as loud as mid - OFF - means only you adjust the volume
