Passport 8500 Radar detector vs. 8500 X50

hey guys just a quick question. there is a passport 8500 radar detector for sale and have been looking at reviews on it and everything is good for it. Its not the X50 and was wanting to know what the difference is between the 8500 and 8500 X50? thanks

pop mode is just a new feature that radar guns have, where the gun is in standby and cant be detected untill cop pulls the trigger and it only gives off a small burst. id say just get the 8500.. i have the x 50 and only been "pop'd" once.

V1 costs way more than the 8500 X50. I went from the 8500 to the X50, and I think I've noticed less false alarms too..
