Seconds later I see him pass the neighborhood by. I waited a few minutes and continued home. That was a close one! There are times you can get away from the popos.
I'm a grad of Parkway High School c/o 99. I used to live off Baxter Rd. by west jr. I live in Cincinnati now. What about you? You live in the area?

Another overachiever in the making.

You so obviously need to set higher goals.

I once made the mistake of speeding without a radar detector as well.
I was coming home from a buddy's house and a Lexus IS pulled up behind me then next to me and the driver looked like he wanted to go for a run. So I appliged (since I just got my car all modded out). This IS must have boosted, because he kept up pretty good. I was leading by a car length when I noticed my speedometer needle was over 135 MPH! It was at this moment that the consequences went through my head...

1. I could get pulled over and spend the night in jail and have all the legal costs topped onto that.

or

2. I can blow a tire or something else bad happening (BTW, the expressway was very clear since I was coming home late Sunday night) and I may not be coming home for good, which might make a certain girl very sad.

So I released the pedal and the IS sped by.

Luckily, there were no cops in the area at that time, but I swore to myself never again. Life is too short to be doing something that crazy.
