Raising the G35c
What's the best way to raise the G35c?
I was thinking of car ramps, but since the G35c is so low, which car ramps specifically would work?

Even a race jack won't fit under my car because of the side skirts so I bought some low profile plastic car ramps. They work great and I can take them with me when I go to get work done at a garage so they can fit the hoist legs under the car.
You just drive on to them and it will lift the car several inches and then you can get a jack under the car.

I can lift the entire back by going under the center portion of the rear diff..........
Heres a Pic of the jack and my winter tire set up
the trick i use is to grab the wheel well and lift, then slide the jack under it. Much faster than trying to drive on top of a 2x4. You might need some one else to slide it under. I can gain about 1-2 inch by doing that.
i remember helping a friend work on his 00 civic si. it had coil overs and 19" racing harts. WEll, he told me to pit up on the fender.. thank god it was his idea. i felt pretty bad when the fender kinked, but i was just glad it wasnt my idea. I know hondas have a very thin body pannels, but im sure the G's are just as thin. So, I would be very caution grapping ahold of the fenders.
its so easy to kink a fender. my girl was at the gas station drive through wash the other day and the track wedge her tire and jammed. they were joing to use a jack to free it up but it wouldnt fit under. the two guys had the lift the fender idea and yeah, has a nice kink now. they are paying for it, plus a new wheel and buffing a small scratch on the front bumper

Im glad you didnt..
