Does a blow off valve sound the same as a 6mt, when it is on a 5at with tiptronic?

 

Only if you let off the gas....

that's one thing bad about AT FI. U dont hear the cool blow off valve noise until after u let off the gas pedal.

 

well one advantage to it is you dont loose boost. While the manual shifts he has to rebuild his boost while yours is still there...

you dont need an aftermarket BOV with an auto...the only time you'll hear anything is when you let off the throttle...and what is all this BS talk about needing to lift off the throttle when driving "tiptronic" . that is such a load of BS..stop pretending you have a 6MT

 

I dont think anybody said that you have to let off the gas in manual mode. He was simply asking since it "manualy" changes gears does it still blow off in each gear....

it doesnt sound as hard cuz you dont hit high rpms like you would in a 6mt.

 

lol i was under impression the guy was a troll and thought all Gs came with OEM turbos...sorry buddy lol
