Nice pics Andy, I told you, once you go to the track you will be addicted. Sorry I couldn't go with you, too many things to take care of around here.

Thanks Scott, I wish you could have gone and be my instructor for the day. It would be tremendous to get pointers from a professional race driver. Let's do it next time. I'll see you friday, bro.

I wouldn't mind get a stick shift though - maybe I'll go crazy one of these days and had my friend's shop do a manual coversion for cheap! For the lack of power, more reason to upgrade to a Stillen SC.

If it were me, I would try to crunch some numbers, maybe hold off on the SC and get myself into a 2008 with the SMG shifters. Then put all the goodies that you already have on the new car. This would give you a better base to build on for a track day car and be a nice compromise between MT and AT. Looks like your having great fun with the car as it is AND its paid off so more power to you no matter what you decide to do.

I know that day was also a posrche day at the Streets of Willow Springs - a lot of really nice tricked out old and new porsche.

On a side note: Thank you all for your kind comments - I've learned all about mods, maintenance and other G's info solely from this website - IMHO,this is the best forum around for any G owners, car enthusiasts - I'm more addicted to this site than ever, member since 06/2003. Recently, I started attending a couple of meets and met a lot of cool, down to earth people with really nice, well modded rides. Hopefully attend more meets and learn from others.

Yeah, that would be awesome to get a 2008! However, my G is paid off and I also have a 4-runner as a daily driver, with payment. No desire/need for another car payment with one income, bills and mortgages. I'm just going to play with and mod this weekend toy until the engine give out, then a total upgrade/rebuilt or V8....possibility! You know how it is, mod bug...it's never ending!

Ha. I hear you. Car payments suck. Amazingly enough I still have not modded my car (05 6mt Lakeshore/gray prem) I'm thinking I may do the MREV2 with high flow cats this spring. Problem is that I'm getting married in Oct so its not so easy to spend that kind of money with out the fiance being like WTF? She doesnt get the car thing at all. However she wants a Jaguar. Go figure.
