Is it normal to pay $730 for 30k checkup?

just wondering, because my 15k was only lke $450.

good news is i got them to give me an 07 sedan loaner...****in badass!!

if the new G coupe has atleast that much power, ill pay whatever they ask. however, going 120+ in that sedan is scary because it feels kinda floaty and unsteady. the coupe shouldnt have those problems i hope.

sedan owners should feel real good about their purchase, they now have one of the best looking 4 doors on the road...as opposed to the 03-06 where they shouldve never let anyone know they were the owner of such a monstrosity.

the service guy just called me and told me i also have a bubble in my right front tire and that eventually it will need to be fixed. he told me $400 for that one tire!! wow i thought those tires were pretty ****ty why do they cost so much?

would i be better off just upgrading to some gforce TA's all around? thats what i was gonna do anyway when these started to wear, but now it seems i have no choice because of that one tire.

i can do the full 30k service at my work (Firestone) for $400 (oilchange, airfilter, incabin micro filter. complete vehicle inspection, tranny drain and fill, coolant flush, rear diff. drain and fill)

$750 is rediculous, and what the hell did they do at $15k to warrant a $450 service?????

all OE (original equipment) tires cost alot. You'd definitely be better off getting the BFG's all around, you can get 2 bfg's for the price of one of the OE Bridgestones.

Sounds about right from the stealership. I don't do any of it though. I change my oil and tranny fluids through the dealer but anything else a good certified mechanic can do it.

I paid $930 cdn at 48,000 km which would be just about the same amount at the same mileage. This included: new belts, cabin filter, tranny flush (AT), power steering flush, and full planned service. Sucks but this is required service to keep your car in good shape. You could save some $$$ by DIY.
