Buying mods on credit?
So, I got stuck into a dillema.
My buddy was selling his G, he has Invidia Exhaust-titanium tru dual.
and a AEM CAI.
He traded me all my stock plus his for 900, which I think is a good deal.
Here is the thing, I put that on credit and ever since, I have SLOWLY been paying it off, with the car payment and going out, it's starting to put a dent in my wallet.
Basically, my question is, I REALLY want axis rims.
I have good credit, I'm thinking of upping my 2k spending limit to 5k and
buying the rims on credit. I know I can pay them off, it's just time.
Another thing is that I have only 300 cash in my 2k credit, can the bank up it, without the balance being payed off.
I'm also 19, so I'm really just BUILDING my credit.
Good Idea, any other options.
**Plus I need new tires**
Should I sell my stock tires?
Thanks,
Nick

any reasons why?
And I'm a responsible person.
I am in college, and maintaining a 3.0 GPA
Also working about 30 hours a week.
Paying cell phone bill, car payment, gas, food.
Any reasons why?
Thanks

not exactly the answers I was looking for, but in the end I might pull the trigger.
Well see how much of it I can pay off before I order them.

Dont ever buy mods off the card.
Just save up... unless your credit card has 0% interest (sarcasm
).
You're in college.
Here are my suggestions:
1. Sell the G35 and all of the bolt-ons.
2. Dump your cell phone.
3. Pick up a used Honda.
4. Cut back on the hours you work (I'm guessing all of those hours are going towards primarily the car payment).
5. Bump up that 3.0 and get on the Dean's List.

terrible idea. you gotta learn at an early age that you shouldn't buy things you can't afford. the only situation that should break this is a house and *maybe* a car... i know lots of ppl who pay cash for their cars.

making minimum/low payments on a credit card isn't building credit, building credit means paying your credit cards on time for an extended period of time as well as bills. Putting a big charge on your credit card and taking a year to pay it off is only going to hurt your credit
Credit card mods...............
There's nothing wrong with paying for mods with your credit cards! But if
you do so make sure you're able to pay the whole amount when the bill
comes due at the end of the month. That way if your smart your using
their money for almost 60 day if you plan it right! Credit cards will kick your
butt if you don't know how to play the game!!

I agree ...
I'm sure this isn't what you’re going to do. But pay off your current card then do it only because you need tires.
You do already have a sweet ride, so wait till your out of school to really pimp it... with some DPE or MAYA's.
