'06+ Passanger Headlight

Looking for a Passanger side only '06+ G Coupe headlight. Mine shorted on my '04 G Coupe and I don't want to pay Infiniti pricing.

replace the ballast or bulb instead of changing the entire headlight

How did it short out?

And not sure if this will work or not but if you can't find just the ballast alone it might be cheaper to buy a set of used 03-05 headlights and use their ballasts? I think the headlights are going for around $200-$250 with bulbs and ballasts.

Ok I'm on the phone with Infiniti and they say the price they quoted me for is for the ballast/module.

The ballast kept popping off of the headlight assembly and I kept popping it back on until one day it popped back on and te light never came on. I took it to Gunn Infiniti and they say its a bad module/ballast

If you just need a ballast, I have a few extras. I can sell one for $75 shipped. Just the ballast, no wiring. But all these ballasts are 100% working.

Um WHAT!?!?! I have upgraded to '06 headlights. Now 1 is bad and they will not warranty it because my car did not come with '06 headlight. It came with '04 headlights. They said the module and ballast are 1 peice. if that is what E_K is selling I'll but one but I do believe I need the whole Ballast and module. I'm getting my car back today and I'll pull it apart and see what I need for sure.

The HID system is comprised of the following components:

+/- wiring coming from the wiring harness going into the ballast, which then sends a separate wiring/bulb connector to the HID bulb.

Assuming that you have coupe, the ballast and ignitor is one unit (the gray octagonal unit). I don't know what you mean by "module."

Go to ebay and search for "nissan ballast". You'll find a whole bunch there for MUCH cheaper than dealer.

I'm pretty sure that's the same ballast type that the G35 headlights uses, but you might want to take yours out and get a visual just to make sure.
