Again, you are right on your second statement:
"As stated before, if you care about brake fade on a track or under abnormally tough stopping situations, you would be remise to just brush off the Brembos as "highly over rated". Essentially, you rehashed my statement and made a question out of it.

Alot of people here make it as though the Brembo's are the End-all of Brakes and their car won't see any of the above on a normal basis. I don't believe my statement was any clearer.

Why suggest an '06?
Seems to me evey time we see a post about oil consumption it's a 2006
and didn't they have issues with funky headlights being recalled...yea!
In his shoes I'd find a well taken care of '04 coupe like mine.............
very low mileage, all the best upgrades (mods) and kept in a airconditioned/
heated garage it's whole life......not to mention being waxed with Zymol
at least every 90 days.....Oh yea, lets not forget oil changes every 2K miles
with Mobil 1 + K&N filter........!

I honestly would go with an 07. I Just got my 07 and the Infiniti dealer ships in the area were more willing for some reason to give me a better deal for a new one. I got an amazing deal for mine and I had a trade in. I was also wanting an older one but realized I was going to get a better deal and save alot more with an 07. I love it. The car is nothing short of amazing. I got mine fully loaded black on black. Make sure you get the rear active steer.
