Mileage.......who cares!

I enjoy the sound my G makes to much to worry about mileage! Between my
G and my wifes Vet my gas bill is around $200 a month if we don't get out
of town. A trip to the cabin adds another $60 just for gas plus food plus...!

I had a GS400 and got about 20-22 mpg, it was a fun car too.

I get about 20mpg in my 03 auto, and I get on it sometimes too. Last tank I got 420 miles out of

It seems like once mods get on them the mileage drops significantly, which it yet another reason for me to stay stock, lol

Nissan has a problem with their mileage across the entire fleet and readily admits it, but claims to be working on it.

My mileage slipped 1 -2 mpg the last few tanks. I have talked to people with other brand cars who claim to have the same problem. Don't know if it's a seasonal blend deal or what, but it seems to affect all makes.

I see others are getting the same sort of mileage (given the same environment, of course), so I guess it's just how it is and not a problem.

??? That's just a dumb comment. There are tons of other cars with similar specs that get much better gas mileage.

As others will tell you, gas mileage will depend on your driving habits. I've owned an 03 coupe 5AT and 05 6MT coupe and I've always gotten about 18-20 mpg. When the cars where brand new and not broken in yet, the lowest I got was 17 mpg. You're probably racing it too much. Ease up on the pedal and you'll get better gas mileage.

I was averaging 320-330 per tank with a 50/50 split.

Then I did some mods recently and if I'm lucky I see 250 per tank

dumb statement, lets look how are cars are geared out and the engines are tuned compared to other cars before you make some comment like that.

Damn are you all beating your cars? I get 21.5 mpg mixed city/highway. My worst was 18.5 mpg. I typically fill up the car untill the pump clicks off the first time then drive untill the fuel light comes on. Thats about 19 gallons to fill-er-up.

That 18.5 was just this last fill up too. That was entirely city driving in Boston with the typical drive you insane traffic.
