hey, just bought a new 06. i have been a member of a fourm called spyderchat for a long time, and a guy over there told me about ya'll. i am really glad that there is a good fourm for my new car too!!

i have pretty good grasp of tunning and turbos. hope that as i learn about this car, i will be able to help some of you as much as your posts will help me!

i plan on leaving this car stock as much as possible, but i said that about my spyder and my bmw, and both have gone so far overboard, i have to keep the forever (will never get my money back,lol).

the only thing i want to do right now is make my stock radio hook up to my ipod. mine did not come with this feature, and i asked the dealer about some sort of adapter, and he told me they did not have one. well reading though some of these threads, i looks like they do make one. ya'll have helped me already .

anyway, good to meet ya'll, and look forward to learning from your past and future threads!

i got black. as crazy as it sounds, i am not real sure about what options i have got. they had to ship the car from miami fl., and it is going to get here this morning. i wanted black with black interior, and they did not have one, so they found me one. all i really know is that it only has 24 miles on it..lol.

i dont think it will have to many (if any) options over stock. it is an automatic. my girl does does not drive a manual, and all my other cars are manual except my truck. thought i would get something that is fun for her too. i think they said it had 17" wheels, but i always swap the wheels out first thing when i buy any ride!

anyway, i will know more latter today!

ya, i have a ton of pics of my cars, ill post a few real quick, and some of my g when i have time to take them. i got the car, it is great! does not have the premium package it turns out, but it is ok, i can add all the cool stuff i want.

Wow, very nice car collection! That spyder is super nice, did you go with the JDM GTS turbo motor, or just turbo on the stock one?

PS- M5s in that body style are my favorite cars of all time. God what I would give to drive one

 

thanks on the spyder, spent allot of time on it! the turbo is from top secret. it is on stock internals right now. i am running about 14psi right now. a little over 300hp on a 2100 lb car...makes for a fun ride. im going racing tomorrow at columbis afb. i have a list of mods a mile long for that car.

as for the bmw, it is fun on the open road, but not so much in town. has plenty of power to spare. im building an older one right now. it is going to be a beast!!

 

i live in brandon ms. right outside of jackson. my dad and sister live in destin fl., so i go through mobile quite a bit.
