Hey guys i bought a certified used 05 coupe wit nav and bla bla the usual. My problem is that i cannot seem to get the dam destination features to properly edit so i can put my home as the main house and work place.

I searched around i could not find much but is there a buttonm combo where i can reset or clear all the entries on this car that is pre-saved for the lat owner so i can set my own home adress? I tried editing it but it wont allow me to do it or i just cant figure it out.

I think a clean sweep is a better idea but let me know what is the trick to make my house the default for HOME?!

Go into Settings > Navigation > Address Book > highlight the desired address to be edditted and push enter.

Not sure about the 05's but with the Nav software on the 03's you will need to have short menus turned off.

After they are off follow Msedanman's instructions

 

yeah i tried that guys i went to adress book, chose " HOME " as the other guy before me had and hit " edit " then it gives me a screen with like the street name but it wont allow me to edit it.

Very frustrating navigation system, i dunno itm ight just be me.

 

I didn't "edit" my "Home" entry. I just deleted the "Home" entry left by the previous owner, then input my address in.
