05 Test Ride Problems
I was test driving an 05 Coupe Auto today when I noticed that there was a problem with the transmission. It seemed to slip quite badly. I came back to the dealership after only driving a couple of miles.
When I got back to the dealership both I and the salesman noticed a very large puddle of transmission fluid on the ground where the car was running and waiting for me. The puddle continued in the direction I drove off on the test drive but not from the direction the salesman came from. It seemed that a hose must have come loose when I put it in gear to let that much fluid flow, it was a good quart or 2.
I checked the engine before the test drive and everything looked great. After i got back there was a small amount on the belt and spray near the radiator.
Any thoughts? I like the car but this worries me a bit. I thought I would consult the experts.

Step away from the vehicle.
Since its used u have no idea how the car was driven by previous owner. It might look good by just glancing at it, but thats how stealerships selll their used cars.
Dont take a 30K chance, just look around for another one; im sure there are plenty 05s around for sale.
