Nav Coverage in the Rain?

It was (is) pouring here in Atlanta today. I went to program my destination to an address and noticed that option (as well as points of interest, etc.) were unavailable. I popped over to the GPS info screen and noticed that it was in and out of coverage. Don't tell me that the Nav won't work in the weather!!! BTW - I was smack in the middle of 14 lanes of I75 just north of I285, so there's no way I should have been out of coverage.

Mine works just fine in the rain (and snow).

It sounds like you were trying to program your destination while driving. It will not let you do that.

I was driving. Thanks. Didn't know you couldn't do that. I'll check it in the garage in the am.

How would I mod the nav to let me enter the addr while moving (well in ATL traffic, you're not really moving)? Also, is there a by-pass that it'll just drop the nav straight to the map screen without having to click the "I realize that f-ing around with the nav while driving is stupid, click enter so you don't sue Infiniti for selling you this $2K option" screen?

Yes, Nav works in rain and snow. Yes, there are a couple of mods that allow you to program while driving (and skip the "confirm you won't do this while driving" screen).
