Nav Coverage in the Rain?
Nav Coverage in the Rain?
It was (is) pouring here in Atlanta today. I went to program my destination to an address and noticed that option (as well as points of interest, etc.) were unavailable. I popped over to the GPS info screen and noticed that it was in and out of coverage. Don't tell me that the Nav won't work in the weather!!! BTW - I was smack in the middle of 14 lanes of I75 just north of I285, so there's no way I should have been out of coverage.
lmao.. damn it reallyy sucks liviing in atlanta w.o. a navi.. i remember when i was down there.. omg everything is sooo far apart. and everything look soo much alike ! lol and at night, its unbelievably dark! pitch dark. I like the place tho =) very peaceful and BIG HOUSE for cheap
How would I mod the nav to let me enter the addr while moving (well in ATL traffic, you're not really moving)? Also, is there a by-pass that it'll just drop the nav straight to the map screen without having to click the "I realize that f-ing around with the nav while driving is stupid, click enter so you don't sue Infiniti for selling you this $2K option" screen?

Yes, Nav works in rain and snow. Yes, there are a couple of mods that allow you to program while driving (and skip the "confirm you won't do this while driving" screen).
