unsure symbol light came on the car..

i was driving on my way to work this morning and mind you it is 14 degrees outside when this light came on as i was backing out of my driveway. It basickly lookslike this " (!) " and im not sure if it warns me about the temp outside but i didnt have tme to check the manual since i am now at work..i was wonderin if anyone fellow members here know what that is?

I hope its something like that cause i just got this car 1 week ago.
thankyou.

Happened to me too, scared me a little till I read the manual and found out what it was. When tire warms up, psi will raise and light should go off. I added a few lbs. of air to my tires and never had problems again. I have heard of pressure sensors going bad on this forum, hopefully adding air solves it though.

14 degrees! I don't know how you guys do it.

That is definitely the Tire pressure sensor....

If you check your tires....they should all be within 2lbs of each other....if they are lower than 34lbs, the sensors will go off....

Make sure you have at least 35 -36lbs, and you should not have any problems.

Don't want to jack the thread, but for those who have after market wheels (w/o TPS valves). Is there a possible way to shut the TPS light?

yeah that sign is for tire pressure. In the winter its pretty regular to see that since we all know heat causes air to expand and cold makes the air contract. you shouldn't worry about that too much unless your tires are losing air consistently

Yup, seem like we all have the right answer. Tire pressure warning sensor. Some time when the weather temperature outside is way too cold, my tire sensor would be on for few mins and it would automatic off. Dont put more air in these tires unless the warning sensor is still on for a long period of time....
