need some help... engine..

I just got my G back... I installed the Skunk spacer, Nismo Headers, HKS exhaust.... and I had the intake on from b4.... now the problem is, I took the dar out for a spin... and my SERVICE ENGINE light came on... what could be the reason... could be a bigger problem ? and I saw the thread for restarting the CPU will that work ?

thanks...

All those mods have A LOT of potential for leaks. Don't reset your ECU until you can get a reading off of an OBDII. Take it to PePBoys or someplace to get it read. I have a feeling it will be a leak, so be ready to take it back to where ever you had all your mods installed. Your ECU should have been reset right after having those mods installed, so your ECU can learn new from the start instead of having to remap old maps.

o2 sensors are very sensitive. it could have gotten damaged while being taken off or put back on. either that or you have a leak somewhere.

I don't know enough about the G yet, but with my last car (mitsubishi lancer) the car would get set off with new headers because there were two O2 sensors and new headers never had the spot to replace the first sensor.

I'm hoping it's not the Skunk spacer cause mine is getting installed next week

Sounds like you need O2 spacers. Are you running test pipes with your HKS? If so, than that would be causing the CEL.
