well thx for the advice guys i already got it down to just 5,000 difference easy thats why i think i can get it even lower..... this guy is a young guy he's 22 so if i pressure him i think he might do it lol. I searched on kbb.com and they priced my car at around 24-25,000. He said he did a quick search where the all the dealerships in the area put a bid on my car and it came up to 20,500 for my car and i think thats total bull****. Anyways i'm going up there today to try to deal with him i will keep you guys updated on this..... i know i shouldn't get to excited but that DG 6spd makes me wanna scream!.

Is the KBB value the fair trade-in value or private party? The dealership will always lowball because they will have to spend money and time to recondition your car as well as suffer the depreciation on it. It's not like they will turn around and sell it right off the bat after you turn it in.
Don't forget to factor the 10% for tax and registration on the "new" car.

i think u should make him pay u, because its easier to sell an auto vs mt in the long run with people looking for cars, but if u can bargain him down because of mileage then try that but u definitley should not pay 7k diff, that is rediculous, but gl

I might be the only one in missouri that goes onto this site....lol but i don't know.... the deal is pretty much set... let you guys know soon.....i my SHI* straight and we are doing a combo deal with a RSX type S.
