Re: Just order my vanity plate----BMWBTR

My plate is already having its intended effect. I just wish I had them last week when I said goodbye to that 328. Or maybe yesterday when I downshifted on a 330ci and pulled on him in 3rd and dissapeared in 4th.

wickedG... good point about comparably pricing the two. The 10g's I'd save on not buying a 330ci would put a twin turbo in my G. And the 20 or so g's i saved by not going with the M3 is a twin turbo and a plasma TV.

p.s. dahmer im nither rich or spoiled, im just focused and have drive.

A 2001 bmw m3 is 39k for a good deal vs. a new g35 coupe. What is your choice

He's mad at you cuz you sound like an arrogant [censored] and you probably are one. Your innocent act isn't fooling no one. Could have presented your view in a better manner.

Why? because I have a easy job that allows me to surf the net all day and get paid very well for being here. So I go from forum to forum. BB/Juice forums to car forums. I was a member of this board since the summer. Because I was about to buy my G35. I never called you a "bottom feeder" if you have such low self esteem and feel that way. maybe you should seek some help. Or go on some anti -depression meds. I lurk these forums and post when i feel like it, And the simple fact is NO G35 will run with a M3. So when someone posts about a vanity plate stating something to that effect I will comment. I like the car.(G35) And respect the owners. But I will call Bullsh*t when I see it. Now if you have a problem with that, go elsewhere. There are always a few ********* in a bunch of good guys!!!

Ok, we all know the m3 is faster than the G35...I mean c'mon look at the price difference. My friend just got his m3 over the summer and paid about 60k for it and I got my G a couple months ago and paid 40k out the door. There are always faster cars out there. What are you gonna say about the Z06 that can take your m3?

Re: Just order my vanity plate----BMWBTR

I think the perspective on this entire debate is pointless. There must be more than one reason the group of G drivers around here selected the G35coupe for purchase. Whether it was pricing, styling, performance, or a combination of all 3.

I can tell you first hand, that the other three M3's in my neighborhood don't get as much attention as my Gcoupe. Why? Because they simply look too much like a common 3-series. There are pro's and con's to every car and you cannot expect any one vehicle to be perfect. I had pretty much the same config M3, but I opted for the Gcoupe for my final decision (I really wanted a 350z but I won't get into those reason).

Its true that our heavy, poorly tuned Gcoupes won't touch an M3 in a race. However, let's take into consideration all the 3-series that have tried to race us and got some good Japanese exhaust in their race. I'm sure nobody in here meant any real offense.

Bottom line is let's respect each others sweet rides. BTW good choice on the black/black M3. =)

I love the G35 myself. I am just saying giving the price options you can have now. A brand new G35c for 34-35k, would you rather spend another 4k to get a '01 m3 for 15000k?

Re: Just order my vanity plate----BMWBTR

I bought a G35 2 weeks ago. After making my insurance payment, I now have 76 dollars in my pocket. Should I buy all season floor mats or should I use the money for BP Ultimate unleaded premium fuel?

Re: Just order my vanity plate----BMWBTR

I didn't mean to raise this thread from the dead. But to the guy who said he would kill any 330 on the road. Here is what I found:
C&D July 2002 page 74-81
330 5spd(slower then the 6sp sport) 0-60 5.8

R&T
G35 6spd coupe-0-60 6.1

So how is that faster. The 2003 330 spd sport is faster. So I don't get what you are saying??? Unless you are modded how would you win(on paper it looks like a easy win for the BMW)

Re: Just order my vanity plate----BMWBTR

The 330 is a boring car. Not very sporty and the interior is old looking. Too many on the road, and I don't know about every other city, but in Houston those are looked upon as being chick cars. The G35 is much more refined so who really cares about 0 - 60 anyway? It's all about the driver.
