for my 6mtC, i placed a june order for the first of the 04's (sept deliv). i ended up with 1250 off msrp.

at the time, seeing anyone get a discount was super rare or non-existent.
i knew someone who placed order at same dealership as mine, month and half later, and got similar deal.

since then, we've had postings of 2700 (i think) off in mass,
2000 off at another dealer in northern nj.

now someone posted 2000 off at grubbs (i assume it's a 6mtC).

all the previous deals were northeast. now it spreads to south.

please post all discounts off msrp for coupes, state tranny, and whether ordered or off inventory.

When I hear of someone getting a good price under MSRP it's always a car sold off the floor. Dealers want to move cars in their inventory. I still think it's pretty rare to get a thousand+ off an ordered car (usually 6MT). I ordered my car back in late Sept./early Oct. and could get nothing off MSRP wherever I went FOR AN ORDER. I was offered deals however on cars in stock. I am from the North East. Hope this helps.

Wow.. I guess I didn't do so good after all. I got $1,000 off on Friday. 04 auto with premium package, wheel & tire, spoiler, and clear bra.

 

remember its winter and dealers know people arent going to buy in mass a sports car that wide reportedly doesnt handle well in snow. they know you will have to invest in from $1000 - 2000 snow tires right away. also it the end of the year and they are desprate to unload inventory to make their '03 numbers so they can get money from japan for volume. hence the increase in discount incentives. trust me as soon as spring and summer hits and the '05 come out they will be less willing again to discount.

Discount is great 1 year after its introduction. I would of be willing to pay 3k over MSRP if I could of get my hand on one 2 years ago just to show off this BadAs* car before its intro. This car is worth every penny with DISCOUNT OR AT MSRP. This car simply put is just absolutely: AWESOME, AWESOME, AWESOME, AWESOME, AWESOME.
Nissan/Infiniti has built my dream car at 35K, ABSOLUTELY UNBELIEVABLE.

NOW AN AVERAGE JOE CAN ALSO OWN AND DRIVE A "SUPERCAR" THE G-COUPE, OHHHHHH YEAAAAAAAA.

I think current coupe prices differences are highly location dependent. In both Oregon and Washington, dealers won't budge from MSRP.

 

Has anyone had any good buying experiences in Atlanta?

 

Everyone must realize that prices reflect whether it's a 6MT or Automatic. The autos have been going for a lot less than sticker for a while now, but the 6MTs are sold for sticker or slightly under.

They probably won't give much off MSRP, if at all, in places that don't have much snow.

When I got my G at the end of 2002, they were offering 1000$ off the CB models (including the 2 6 MTs). I got Silver, so I paid MSRP, but it just arrived on the lot and I was the only one to test it out :-). The CBs had been sitting there a while from my salesman. Only 3 CBs and a black G coupe were on the lot when I left that day... they had already sold 4 other G's before mine <grin>.

That was Roswell Infiniti -- one of the BEST car dealership experiences I have ever had. I am still PO'ed at Peachtree Nissan and Regal Nissan. That solidified my G vs Z decision.

ordered car from douglas infiniti, about 20 miles and 35 minutes away.

ray catena dealership was closer, but no discount.
