The Good:
Nismo headers (pre jet-hot), arc titan titanium strut, z engine cover (to fit the arc w/ my spacer), nismo g-attack suspension for cpv35, nismo clutch line, nismo head gaskets (for sale). All to be installed w/in the next 2 weeks w/ an orc clutch and amuse pipe on the way the way from japan.

 

The Bad:

One of the shocks has scratches in the finish on the end (I believe from rubbing against a staple that was used on the box that enclosed it. I believe it is purely cosmetic. What do you guys think?




Also I don't need the head gaskets. If anyone wants to buy my new nismo head gaskets pm me.

The Ugly:
Curb rash on drivers side front and rear on my oem 19's--there's a little sliver off the tire as well:







Dealer said he could have them looking "back to new" for like 175 a wheel. But in my experience, wheel shops have hard time matching oem colored rims (And I don't want my wheels on the drivers side to be a different shade than the passenger's side (I'd honestly rather live with the curb rash--until it really got worse, then buy new wheels)

Speaking of buying new wheels, You guys think I should just replace w/ new oem 19's to replace the curbed wheels, or get the nismo 19's? The nismos would require new tire b/c they are wider. Would the nismo suspension work better w/ the nismo wheels, or would it work the same w/ the oem 19s?

 

Having scratches on a bracket have no effect on how it performs or the
longevity of the item. Have fun with the install.........

 

^^Thx for the reassurance on the bracket--I plan on leaving the car w/ the tech for a few days and I get a loaner--so the only downside is that my wallet will be severely lightened by dealer service charges. I'll be posting reviews when everything is on

Curb rash is on all 4 OEM 19's thanks to my careless stepdad but o well what can i do!

Andy, What up brother! Thx 4 the kind werds. I figure I'll jus keep on going until I feel good w/ my setup--I just hope the install goes as smooth as getting the parts were--I dunno what to get installed first I guess suspension, headers, clutch line bleed w/ motul, then the strut bar.

 

The shop I go to here in Socal charges $100 per wheel. Maybe you can find someone in the forum marketplace and just buy a single used rim.

^^Thx bro--Hey in addition to a orc pro-line I also ordered 2 bottles of the orc clutch fluid--I'm not sure if its any better than the motul--did you order pro-line? One line was jsut a tad more expensive than the other, but I didn't know why--but ordered that one anyway lol. U know the difference?

 

one comes with 2 bottles of orc clutch fluid if not mistaken
