DragonGcoupe,
Thanks, the car is lowered using EibachPro-Kit springs
Part # 6365-140 These are made specifically for the G-35 Coupe. I'm also running Nismo Sway bars, they really made a differance. Been to the track twice now. Flat handeling & really neutral. No more pushing. The Eibach's are great, they ride just like the stock springs, they Lowered the car a little more than an Inch all the way around...

Re: 2nd 5-seater coupe Pics

Thanks for all the great response and thankyou RugRatCoupe for fielding the questions.

I have 4 kids and a van for when all 6 of us have to go somewhere together. I am in love with my red G35 6mt. It is my daily driver and I look for excuses to drive it everywhere. My only anxiety comes from parking in crowded parking lots!

The 1st month after I added the seat, I kept the console in the trunk in case I wanted to put it back in. It pops right in in about ten seconds. Now I leave it in the garage.

Dragon Coupe wrote : "Sweet. Do you kno if there is a way to have no bump at all? I have no use for the back seats in my car, but I don't like the center console at all. I would love to take it off. And have it look there was nothing there."

I think RugRatCoupe's look is very clean. Without the center belt it might be what you're looking for.

For those of you interested and to make amends for my late posting - here are some more pictures of the console removed and of the pad that I had made.

As you can see from the 1st pic there are two metal bars that run width-wise across the center. The Console is slotted in the the rear and has two clips on the front to hold it in place. To remove the console you lift up on the front and then slide it forward.

My pad has two notches which align with these bars. My pad also has a strip of Velcro to hold the front snug against the front.

Now the ugly side. Here is the bottom of the cushion.

Re: 2nd 5-seater coupe Pics

Thanks to both 5 seat coupe owners for sharing this information. I'll now have to track down a shop that can match the leather/vinyl and create the center cushion.

One final question: I presume you used the existing bolts from the neighboring seat belts to anchor the center lap belts. Was it difficult to get to?

The center lap belt does mount to the existing anchor points. Just remove the bottom of the rear seat and you can get right to them. The rear seat can be removed by simply lifting straight up on the front of the seat about 10 inches from each side.

I feel sorry for the kid that has to sit "b!tch" in that car, the forward slope doesnt look to comfy, but if its just for short trips they can deal with it. either way its a good idea if you need it.

Bump~ Can somebody please make a kit and sell it to me? I am getting frustrated because I can't find a upholsery shop around NE that will do this mod for me. I attempted to cut up my foam pillow to make a center rest and it was a complete disaster.
