Cancelling extended warranty

Canceling extended warranty
Hello everyone, a new '07 6mt coupe owner here and lovin' my new ride. I got the car just 2 weeks ago and ended up getting their elite extended warranty. After researching online, I feel like I paid too much for this. Can I still cancel this after signing the contract? What do I need to do to cancel it? I live over 100 miles from the dealership, so driving over there isn't ideal but I will if I have to...

Why not check the actual contract for the extended warranty that you signed and paid for. You agreed to its terms when you signed and bought the extended warranty--I am sure there are provisions written down that would answer your questions that you should have copies of, or if not can request.
Not to be a dik, but it is always better to perform due diligence and research on something Before you buy it and not Afterwards to avoid such problems.

Yea already checked it and it didn't have anything about cancellation, but it also didn't say I couldn't cancel either.
I researched the car before buying it, just this was my very first new car purchase so I just wanted to be safe. Didn't know you could get extended warranties from other places besides the dealer for 1/3 of the price.

Well I talked to the guy about canceling it and he said that if I canceled it now it would affect the low APR% I got. The reason I got that rate was because I signed up for this and the GAP insurance. He said that if I waited a few months first to cancel it, the APR% will be locked in and I can cancel it then. Is this all legit? I thought I would only have 30 to 90 days max to cancel...
