Unhappy What should i do with my 04 g35?

Hey i have an 04 g35 it is vortech supercharged, greddy evo 2 exhaust, stop tech big brake kit, dc sport headers, vortech piggy back computer it dynoed at 375 to the wheels. the only problem is its automatic, when i purchased it i didnt plan on modding it up, it all started with just an intake and then i went all out, im debating if i should keep it or trade in? its just not as fast as i would have hoped for it to be, i have alot of trouble keeping up wit evo's and sti's! do u guys recomend any mod upgrades?

hmm thats a bad situation to be in. you have 2 options..

1. Conversion kit into MT
2. Buy a new g35 with 6mt

if i were you, id start over but thats just me thats also the more expensive way to go I think

ps. im surprised u dont keep up with the evos and stis. more the stis than the evos

yea ur right i would lose alot of money in a trade in, some ppl recomend adding a plenum spacer and new intake manifold, or maybe working on the internals? my motor is stock! yea i cant believe i got beat by my cuzin wit his evo 9! even on the belt way i couldnt catch up? i might need a tune up or something, becuz when i first got the sc put on my car was running real lean?

iF YOU NOT happy with Automatically, I suggest stop spending anymore money and get a MT. Because you will just ending up spend more money and not have a satisfying feeling.

yah thats not right with the evo9, my friend has a stage 1 buschar and im right there with him 9/10 times.

Honestly, the most economical way to go is to buy a conversion kit into 6mt. Itll run you about 2500 id say but I cant be certain

Hmmm, AT valve body upgrade should help out a bit and dialed in suspension should help out. We AT guys are pretty limited with power gains.

to be honest im not sure. Im just throwing out ideas

Although I havent heard of one available for g35s, im sure you could have shops around a designated area do it for you. not too cheap but better than buying a new car

You could delete your account on all G boards and let the modding craze leave your system. After that you can enjoy what you are blessed to have and quit wanting more.

I know it's not cheap to convert auto to manual...there's a lot involved besides the transmission swap. Why not do a tune? Or maybe increase the boost?

Are the ATs that much slower? I thought the 0-60 was very similar? I understand that on a road course it might be a different story since you can better pick your gear and be in your power band for a longer period of time. However, if the OP raced on road courses I'd think he would have bought a 6MT from the start.

You have trouble with STis and EVOs in a straight line?
