Bumper got scratched and dented slightly..

hey everyone..unfortunately my front bumper was bumped by a housemate's Jeep where it had a metal piece on the back lower end of the bumper(i guess it's for towing purposes). i noticed the damage this morning and confronted him about it, and he told me he'd pay for the damages. i was just wondering wat u guys think i'll be looking at..whether i'm gonna hafta get the bumper completely repainted or what not and where i should go. the bumper is also slightly dented nothign extremely deep, but in the pic of it above the license plate, he scratched off a good amount of my paint.

any help or advice would be appreciated thanks

hard to tell but i am guessing that is a front bumper I would say about 200 - 300 depending on where you go. There is no need for a new bumper they can do some body work and it will be good as new; but as most do this is a prime opportunity to change it if you ever wanted to.

damn that sucks bro, it definitely seems fixable tho. A couple of hundred bucks should work IMO. it seems like the paint will have to sanded down to get it smooth again, you might as well go for a Kuruma Z front bumper now

Yea 300 for a front bumper is a safe guess. Depending on if you need a new one or not but doesnt look like you do, just a repaint. Good thing its just the plastic so they dont have to do any panel blending. Good luck with the repairs!

Front bumper respray in your area is about 500-600.

Had mine done last summer, and they will remove it, strip it, repair any cuts in the surface due to the accident, and then prime, add flexing agent, and respray.
Ivory pearl will run you a little extra since its a three stage paint.
Good luck

You better find a good body shop that knows to repair torn bumpers and make it looks perfect. I'd do what the poster above said...repair any cuts and add flexing agent.

$985 to replace the front bumper and repaint. Mine goes in Tuesday for the same repair, except the tow hitch actually went through the front bumper in my case.
