rev limiter set to 7thousand in my coupe
I have read several posts about the rev limiter being at 6600rpm's but, in my coupe, the rev limiter doesnt kick in until AROUND 7000 - 7100. I do not have any upgrades in my coupe (yet), anyone have any thoughts on this?? i know what the rev limiter feels like when i hit it and it is DEF not at 6600 rpms...

My guess is that your tach is not accurate. Mine isn't as accurate as I would like, and shows about 6800 on the 'limiter'.
If you're concerned about it, have the dealer connect an external tach to your engine for a comparison.
