Paint her up.

Well guys, i have been considering time and time again what i will be aiming to do this summer for my car. Ill have some extra cash working extra hours due to not having to be a student for a short while
My cars on stock 17s so i was really thinking doing rims. I decided though that id love to do rims and color match them, so it will be a combined process or a bit later on.
Im not a fan of bodykits, mainly because i can think of about 10 roads around me i easily bottom out on with just the oem lip. I like it plain and simple, cant even make it up my grandmothers driveway who i try to get to to help her shop and such every weekend..heh

So i decided id love to do a paintjob. There are a few colors im really into, but i want something noticable.
What do you just think about flat black? Im not sure if it would fit the car, but god i have LOVED every flat black car i have ever seen. The all black look is great, but i feel the flat black really completes the look.
opinions?
id like to do some colors that ive seen cars on here, but regardless if i ever meet the person who has done it to there car, i dont want to ride off someones good ideas, like candy apple red (hot.).

tl;dr (too long didnt read) :
how do you think flat black would look for the g? of course with tint, flat black rims, etc =)

there is a clearcoat on the flat black matte paint job but i'm not sure what the process of it is to maintain that paint via wax or other uv paint protectant products.

There's no way in hell you could get a paintjob and rims for 4K. A well done paint job of your entire car will run you 3-4K alone, and unless your going for some cheap a.ss ADR rims or something, a set of Volks or Works will run you easy 3.5K-4K. Dont let Maaco paint your car either. Do one or the other, but whichever you choose, do it right.
