Wow, that sucks, but it's kinda ironic. My buddy called a couple of days aga to say that he's finally decided on a car. Lazer Red 6MT...the exact same car I have on order. He better be glad we no longer live in the same city (or country)...I'd have to hurt him!

 

Haha, I hear you bro. There's about 4 D/G Coupes in Cambridge that I've seen, and 3 of them are on my street!
Mine has clear corners and shines all the time. Also it's a little louder due to Borla, intake, and plenum.
If I were worried about being unique, I'd go for a Kit, wheels, and maybe tint.

Damn, I have to admit, that would totally **** me off, even though I know it's completely irrational. I would say that exterior modifications that normally are questionable are allowed under your circumstances. Maybe an accent stripe and 350GT badge, with aftermarket wheels.

Seriously though, what the hell is wrong with your neighbor? Even if the guy next door had the exact car I wanted, I'd move to another city before I bought one in the exact same color. I thought guys like that bought BMWs.

-about 6 months ago i got my coupe
-old lady in my neighborhood likes it
-she bought one (same color and everything)
-she can't drive (revs engine, vrrrm vrrrmm)
-she can't brake (bump bump bump)
-she doesn't wash it
-rims are black from dust
-car looks like **** in general
-no tints or any nicer mods though...

The morning of the day I went to pick up the new G i saw the exact same car I was getting crossing an intersection I was stopped at. Thankfully I havent seen the car since. It would be odd to be the only two in town and be exactly the same.

i do have 10% tints and clear corners so i'm little different than him oh well... maybe i'll invest my money on 19s whenever stock tires worn out... i think it's ridiculous to pay 1k+ just on tires where i can get 18s rim + tire combo for around 1400$ isn't it?? i rather pay few more $$ to get another set of rims... hmmm new set of rims every year... sure sounds nice...

 

Ahhhhh, I got you guys ALL beat. I bought my G last January and couldn't say enough about it to everyone I talked to about it. Less then a week later my little Bro sends me a pic of his brand new DG coupe. The next month my good friend from work drives up in his new BS Coupe. It's funny.. I live in a metropolitan area and yet aI still rarely see G-coups around.. I see a lot of sedans and Z's. There is one person in my neighbor hood that has a silver 6MTw/ Aero. She just moved into the neighborhood. There are a couple others in the near vicinity that I see every so often. Ive seen just 2 other black coupes however. I see a red one every so often as I look out of my office window. I think that I've seen 15 total over the past year in my area. Whenever I go visit my inlaws in their very very small town everyone's like... "What in da...??" Oh my ...what the??? It's like they can't finish their thought.

before i placed an order for my g, i was seriously considering is3.. when i went to the dealer, they only had one in silver, and i ended up letting it go, only because my neighbor had an exact same car. however, i think it would been a different story if it was for g35c.
get to know the guy and share your interest. i think it will be pretty cool.

At school I thought i was the only one with a g35. Then I saw another black one so I said damn. Next think you know I see another black coupe and I m like yo wtf! Anyway it was three black coupes but one sold out so its down to two black coupes and a silver base coupe. This black coupe definitely has the edge over me with the stillen front lip (which I am ordering ) and the splash guards (which I am also ordering). I defintely dont want to be labeled as a copycat but thats what I want for my car and I'll get them. It just sucks cuz there will be twin 35's in the lot. Imagine that....
