185 including labor? thats cheap man. are using a generic window or the oem window?

my driver side integra window was smashed at work, dealer wanted $380 just for the window. went to a junk yard and got one for 80 bucks, and 100 bucks for labor.

the only good news was the owner my the company, gave me $100 in cash money to help with the repairs. we also caught the guy on camera, some hispance kid on a bike. he actually was scoping ou the parking lot. we called the cops but they didn't even want to look at the video. all they did was write a report.

Man, i use to always be on the fence about police/pigs. today just made me lean towards pigs...

i come to my office at 10:30PM and see two guys in the front of the building. it seemed like they were trying to get into the building, but without a key or access code. either they work there or they don't, i wasn't going to take the chance so i called the police.

before the police can get there, the two guys take off in a red van. i pick up the phone to call the police, but just then the police drives up.

i get out and tell him what happens, and he gets all pissed because i didn't call him earlier to let him know, and lectures me about "when you call the police, make sure you keep us updated."

due to recent activities at the office (a car fire, 2 cars getting broken into) they have over night security, which i didn't know, he came to inform me and the officer they were janitorial service who got locked out.

man, no matter which side of the law i'm on, it seems they always give me attitude...

it seems aftermarket, but after they installed it, i signed off on it, and driving it for 5 minutes its a ****ty installation. Theres gaps in a couple places allowing air to come in when i drive. not to mention it "pops" in the middle of going up/down. i called them right when i found out about 1 hour after the guy left, but their office was closed.

Another reason to tint your front windows.

Sorry to hear about the incident.

yeah i was thinking about tinting, but i dont think it would've mattered

another suv was broken into the same night at my office.

so that 2 cars in one night.

i think even if my windows were tinted, they would've smashed it anyways, just to see what was inside.

and insurance doesn't cover it since it cost less to repair then the deductible, or something like that.

for everything that's stolen, they said its covered by my homeowners insurance, but i don't think it will since i was parked at the office??? v_v we need an insurance expert on these boards.

Sorry to hear bro, but I wouldn't leave my wallet with 5 bills over night in a car next time.

Also, I think Infiniti assumes we can afford a garage. Of course the alarm wont be so great.

Hmmm, I am not a big fan of police either, when you need them, they are not where to be found but when you dont need them, a bunch of them show up just for a small traffic incident. I guess depend who you are in the city, otherwise, they would write you a report, give you a case number and that was all. Even if we have photo pictures or video tape of these criminals, they tend to be a bit slow to take a look of what we have!!!And here they carry gun, speed up on the street when, wherever they like!! Grrrrrrr
