I dunno that sounds weird. What if its just in your head and thinking about what he said, that makes you not notice yellow cars or something, if what I said just made sense. IDK . Cause Its like once I got a G I noticed them more often if that is the same kind of thing.

My last six cars were Red, Insurance is higher because of the color of paint is more expensive, thats what my buddy at the bodyshop told me. I drive like an a..hole and have not had a ticket within the last 6 years. Invest in a Passport Radar detector and also pay that extra 20bucks or so a year for the licence plate that supports state troopers! That saved me once when the radar detector failed at night. Oh and its harder to see Red at night...

 

does the fact that you said red cars are harder to see at night mean that... black cars are invisible at night? damn.

 

its not that having a red car makes you a cop target, having a red car makes you an everyone target, red cars are rarer among the masses, cops are people too, every bike cop i pass his good ole helmet turns as i pass, its tough having 5%s and black wheels haha

My insurance didn't change and I have yet to be pulled over, even with my tendency to accidentally hit 90-100mph on the highway (70mph speed limit) on the way home from work. However, that's mostly a combination of luck and driving the same 19mi stretch of highway every day for 6 years.

 

I have had mine for 2 1/2 years, i love the red, wouldnt trade it for the world, insurance does not matter, you will just be a little more noticed.

 

You won't be targeted by cops, but you will be noticed more by them. There have been numerous studies (that state the obvious) that show yellow and red cars have a much higher profile than other cars on the road. So in theory if you are speeding or braking any other traffic law you have a likelier chance of being noticed by a cop and pulled over.
