Warranty Specifics?

I just bought an 03 coupe from a private owner and I believe these cars come with 4yr 60k mile warranty that is transferrable. Im wondering where I could find more out about the stock warranty and if I would be able to get some stuff fixed since theres only 40000 miles on it.

Has anyone transfered one over or gone about getting a dealer to honor it?

The CD player is acting up and the power control arm under the steering wheel for the outside mirrors doesnt control them (dead? fuse? who knows) So Im wondering if I can work this in under the warranty even if its outside of the 4yr window since Im still under 60k???

Please help! Thanks!

well i hope the dealer is nice and will do the work because even tho the car has only 40k miles its passed the 4yr. mark so it does not have the warranty

Definitely call the dealer and find out when was the car put into use. If the original owner bought it in December 2003, your warranty should be good until December 2007. But if the car was bought before June 2003 you're out of luck and your warranty either already expired or is about to, so hurry and find out. Good luck.

Thanks for the help...but is my train of thought right that the all G's come with that standard service warranty (4yr 60k)? I think I can talk them into honoring it either way if its pass by a few months since its still under 60k but a lot...

I wouldn't count on them honoring the warranty if it expired. It will be very nice if they will.
