Buzzing sound....

hey guys

I bought a used 04 G35 Couple less a month ago and ever since I got my car, I've been notiching this buzzing sound coming from my front windshield (or underneath??!)....It is not that crazy loud as I have to turn the music off and close my windows fully to hear the sound .... but it does bug me to a certain stand...

I have done some search on this forum but I am not sure if this is the "rattling sound" that has been mentioned many times in other threads..

So I'm just wondeirng if anyone here has experienced the same problem and if there is anything that i can do (tighten up some screws??) to fix this????

thank you guys in advance..

damn dude... i got the exact same problem and thought I was the only one so I didnt dare post the issue...
but for me im not sure if its from the front driver side or if it comes from the rear somewhere.. mine comes from the rear I think....
it's like a whooooshing sound that gets louder the faster I drive...
I'd think it's wind getting in somewhere through a crack or something..but its a really strange noise that doesnt sound like wind...
buzzing as well just like you described it

oh and my sunroof squeaks like crazy quite often... sounds like metal bars are being bent outta shape

Not sure on the air sound but it sounds like your moonroof needs some grease to re-lube it.

The moonroof makes sounds on mine only when going over bumps tho so i guess the whole body is flexing. I was thinking of getting some of the chassis stiffeners to cure that

This is going to sound stupid... but check your sunglasses holder up by the lights.

My front window sounded like it had vibration.. it totally did NOT sound like it was coming from the sunglasses holder... turned out there was a damn penny in it... which you can't see. That penny made quite the rattle...

I laugh on how obvious it was now since my new pair of sunglasses rattle the same way, eventhough there is foam in there.

I thought u said u had a buzzing sound not rattling?

if it is a buzzing sound coming from the front ...that sounds like ABS pump especially if u notice it only wen u hit bumps or hit the brakes
