I like it more than some of the cars in it's class. It doesn't have the finest materials on the dash/console but I think it just feels way more bad-@ss when you are in the driver's seat. The seat design and leather are excelent and that's very important right there. Plus the pop-up nav just looks so cool.
It wasn't untill I sat in the g's interior that I felt I HAD to have one. It's funny so many don't like it...

 

GSG - FYI The FX interior is nicer (my opinion) than the G because the almost all the Silver Parts are actually made of real brushed aluminum and not painted silver like the G. I like my G's interior although I think it lacks a little in comparison to some Euro interiors like the Audi's and such. I think the three main things that bug me the most is the Silver paint instead of REAL aluminum, poorly positioned cup holder (sports coupe style), and the Display color. I really wish the display color was a nice white and blue combo like a benz or even like the I35. Over all I'm very satisfied with the interior and I even like the leather better than my friends new 325I BMW. Laters.

i really like the g, but i have to admit, the interior looks cheap. currently driving 03 es300(the g's still on order), even this car has very refined and luxurious interior. i really wish the display color was combo of white and red, just like audi. G's interior looks decent, but i think Infiniti could do it better..

 

I had an I35 which I sold when I took delivery of my G35 coupe.....I miss the on board computer in the gauge cluster...I really miss the memory seats, especially when I have to move my seat to get to the rear seats...I think the dash lighting could probably be slightly more interesting than the orange color it presently is...no offense to sedan owners..but the gauge cluster should in my opinion be slightly different than the sedans.....real aluminum on the console and grab handles would truly be sweet...but is everyone willing to pay the increase? I think there should be a 2nd upgrade option for the items we have all listed...just my opinion...2old4this
I know this is slightly off base...but the Bose system in my I35 was much better in quality and sound than the G35...better highs and much better speaker quality!!!!!!

I love our interior.... if you want to complain go else where! The only thing better in the price range is the TL, but then you would have to settle with a "HOOOONDA" exterior. Its soooo, well the G is just better.

How about you guys?

 

Other entry-level brands like Audi, Cadillac, and Jaguar are better quality then the G's. The leather started creasing in my dad's G after 3k miles and he's only 140 pounds.

 

StVincent, I also drive a 2003 ES300 and am waiting delivery of the G35. I've been having some doubts lately as to whether I should make the change. Are you keeping your Lexus, or are you trading it in for the G? Have you had any doubts about changing rides?

Hmm...wouldn't it be nifty if Infiniti offered an "interior trim upgrade package" or something to that effect? I understand that it is probably expensive to even simply offer another package upgrade, but simple things such as real aluminum trim, memory seats, or other small amenities may be really attractive to alot of people. Heck...I'd throw a few extra bills at it!

platinumg35coupe.. sorry if i sounded like i own the car. es300 belongs to my dad, i'm just borrowing his car to commute everyday until my car's arrival. however, i'm sure you will love every aspect of g35c since i absoultely have no doubt. i believe the coupe is hard to beat for the value and performance. i wasn't getting used to the interior and orange display color, but not something that i would change my mind over. later..
