If the cost of the damages are cheaper than your deductable then do it yourself. By the looks of it I would do a police report and claim it. Your insurance shouldn't go up. Mine didn't when someone scratched my eclipse a while back. I thought it would because I had extra insurance on it because it was a show car. Make sure the paint shop is good at blending paint well or else you will have a 2 tone car. Good Luck!!!

same exact thing happened to me before. I was keyed from front to back like you, but I had something extra on the driver's side. Total to repaint everything came out to $3700. For you, i would estimate around 3000-3200.
Make sure you find a good body shop that will take off everything before they paint. I didn't know to check the door jams, the plastic film before the rear wheel well, etc.
Get it fixed as soon as possible. The sooner you get it fixed, the better you will feel. Don't let this get you depressed, because that is exactly what the person who keyed your car wants.
