Hello. I was just curious, I have a 2003 coupe, and my power mods are z-tube/jwt pop(poop)charger, 3/8 plenum spacer, FI test pipes, Invidia g200 exhaust. Just wondering what power increase I have from the 287 stock crank hp. Whats stock hp to the wheels?

P.S: Besides headers, I basically can not gain anymore power easily without going FI right?

this is a ridiculous question...there is absolutely no way to make a legit guess at how much hp you have.

take your car to the dyno and figure it out.

every stock car has a different whp...

each of your mods will give you 10whp....so you're probly making extra 40whp...stock whp for 03 is around 240whp

you could take it to a dyno, but it will only tell you how much power you have. you shouldve gotten a baseline under normal conditions to see what you have gained..

so 280whp? that's unlikely...

and 10whp from a p/c? please!

not to mention, you think he'd gain all that without a tune?

Hmmm yea I wish i did a baseline. I was just saying roughly.. lol.. thanks for the help. How exactly does a tune work, I would have to buy a piggyback or? Sorry im a little noob with tuning...

you need a piggyback or standalone engine management unit to tune. tuning basically corrects your AF ratio throughout the rpm range to sqeeze out some extra horses. usually around 10 hp. if you're stayin NA, you'll prolly want to go with a more cost effective technosquare reflash.
guessing from your mods, i'd say you gained 20 rwhp max.

that's strictly just my opinion....

I was just throwing out the #s since he just want to know the #, NOT FINDING OUT the actual whp

I'm going to venture a wild guess and say that you probably have about 225/230 HP stock to the wheels, and after the mods, maybe 245 to 250. That's just a completely wild guess though based off of the stuff I've read where other people have done similar mods.

You don't get much power from this car with bolt on mods. If you want power, you'll either have to do a full internal motor build or suck it up and go FI.

thanks man, yea im guessing about that too... i think im going to get a UTEC... run with that for a bit and when I need more speed I guess I will go FI... wonder whats the most cost efficient hp per $ FI method...
