the seats are graphite... the dash is graphite... but is the roof graphite???????????? the cloth above your head is it suppose to be willow?????

But the roof pillars and the roof is Willow in colour, even when you have the Graphite interior.

yeah thats how it is on mine..... I thought the 03 was that way too, I have an 04.....

Yup, I had ordered a black on black until I found out about this...I was totally set on the graphite interior, but it just looks so weird to me with the color contrast. I immediately changed my order to TB/willow. With such a perfect car, I really wonder what infiniti was thinking putting a willow dome with a black interior!! Maybe there's a legit reason for this, but I haven't heard any so far.

If you still want the graphite interior, I observed that you can't really tell the difference in colors at night time...but if I always drove during the day, it'd annoy me death.

 

Can someone post a pic of graphite interior showing the pillars and the roof? Much appreciated!

 

I noticed mine when taking delivery and asked my salesperson about it because the first thing that popped in my mind was if the dealer was swindling me. The umm "reason" for this he explained is that it gives the interior a less cramped feeling and creates an illusion of spaciousness. Go figure.

I know he was pulling my leg.

The 03 is the same way as the 04. Roof and Pillars are willow. No biggie, looks OK to me.
