I asked them if they dropped it at all, obviously no one said they did. then the box arrived, it looked fine from outside. anyways, the wheel has sent to a shop to get it fix already, I'm tired of dealing with all this crap. but I'll give UPS a call just to see what they can do.

Are you serious? It sounds to me like either your shop did it or the sender sent you a bad wheel. You are going to have a tough time asking UPS to do anything for you considering you sent the wheel out for repairs already.
I mean, from what you have described, it sounds like you know UPS did not do it and you are just trying to get them to pay for it.

[QUOTE=verbal assassin][QUOTE=MIAG35](shouldn't UPS make sure packages are packed correctly before they ship??!?!?!?).
They then determined the box did not meet their standards therefore they were not responsible? Why would they ship a box that they later determine was sub-par?
The seller was clearly to blame on this one.
SOOOO Many boxes are shipped that are not packaged to standards to be covered if damaged...
The only shipments they do stop are ones with hazardous materials such as airbags and other explosives, and other hazardous materials...
anything else goes,

I had my brand new 19" wheels sent by fedex and they shipped them with three of the four dinged in the lips...I had to file a claim and resolve it with the seller... and I feel sorry that you had UPS send your wheels as a friend of mine works for UPS and he says that they kick they're packages like a soccer ball...
pretty much you're SOL they will say that you need to resolve it through the seller and that the seller didn't use adequate packaging for the wheel and as a result were damaged...not they're fault..
