i want to get an ashtray insert for my 06 MT coupe, but ive searched all over these forums and didnt find any info. I need to put my passport mute button there so i just need to know who sells the ashtray inserts. Thanks. Ive searched google and saw this site mp3car that sells them but they have too many holes in it for what i need it for. If any1 knows or can make me one ill pay for it obviously Thanks.

oh lol not the insert that comes with the car, an aftermarket one that you can put switches in, like a piece of metal that slides in.

 

make one yourself.

 

run it fron the SPARE FUSE SLOTS in the fuse box... thats why they are there..........

Easy to make. I made one myself to place my remote bass unit in. I used some black plastic that I got off a guy on ebay and cut it to fit and then sealed it in place with some glue and silicone. Looks great if I do say so myself. Try it out.

I know how to wire it, i just wanted to get a bracket so i can put the mute button that i wired into the ashtray, im not crafty enough to make one myself.
