My Car is Bad Luck

So to add to the list of crap that has taken place with my car, I now get to add a broken windshield due to a big *** rock flying off a truck. I am pissed. I just installed my exhaust and intake and was enjoying the drive home from work and whack, then the crack starts.

So I need to get it replaced, I will call and get prices tomorrow, but has anyone replaced their front windshield? How much am I looking at?

Corey

not too bad, if you know where to look. dealership is definitly the last place to go, unless there's something related to warranty that you know will get fixed for free.

yea most insurance companies will fill the crack, but I want a new windshield, so I am not going through the insurance company unless its twice my 250 deductable.

and no I did not have sex in, or on my car.

full coverage, regardless of deductible. Florida law provides glass coverage as part of car insurance.

^^That's too bad, its FUN! Best of luck with the windshield, it does suck but just think, it could have been way worse.

I just got it fix like last week for $160 in NYC- Brooklyn.

I would think it will be more expensive to replace ur windsheild in IL.

good luck buddy.

Hmm...that's probably true but then again, they may just add in Broken Windshield to your coverage. In California, you have to add this in, which is pretty cheap, like $20 or so a year I think extra and it covers all glass.
