My car hasn't had any serious problems

It seams like so many (actually, so few, but read on) people post about the problems they've had with their cars, such as oil consumption or grinding 3rd gear, that it makes others think that these are unreliable/POS vehicles.

I just thought I'd start a thread to say that my car has been just dandy.

Like I heard somebody say, "the polls are not scientific; they are geared toward the squeaky wheel".

Anybody else here have zero or negligible issues, or are all G35s pieces of crap?

Post year, model, mileage, and what serious issues you've had, if any. By serious, I mean oil consumption that requires engine replacement, tranny issues that required replacement, Blose radio not working and required replacement, paint peeling prematurely (assuming that it was properly taken car of) and other major malfunctions. Do NOT post "the stitching in one of my seats started to unravel" or "one of my HID bulbs burned out too early" or other petty crap like that.

'03 5AT Coupe
70,000 miles
Nothing serious

15,xxx miles

-i ran my car for an oil consumption test, failed it (they said the engine is good and there isnt a reason to replace engine under warranty). still having problems with losing 1 1/4 qt everyone 1100 miles..

-couple of times i missed 2nd gear from power shifting.

-chatter in the transmission.

-the OEM tires wear a little faster than normal.

04 5AT with 77,000 miles on it.... 35,000 of those with a Vortech SC pushing 9psi and 410rwhp... NO internal work done and I have NOT even had to replace the SC belt at all!!!

I have had ZERO issues with the motor on this car!.... had only one window motor replaced. Now that I know it is just carbon build up I can fix it myself if it happens again!

I love this car and will get her 200K miles.

Royal Purple every 3-4K miles like cloclwork and she is my daily driver.

Nothing serious. Just replaced passenger window motor and got the rear axle click noises fixed.

Got some chatter in the transmission. Car has warranty until 90k miles so i'm golden.

2004 G35 6mt. 34k miles. New tranny at 33k. 3 new window motors. New throttle body. New bose head unit. LOTS of creaking in windows. Rear springs are wearing out. New OEM tires at 24k. New pads at 24k. Getting every final squeak out of my OEM original rotors. Car went in to lockout mode 3 times. Both headlights replaced. Very poor leather wear.

If this car wasn't so hot it would have been in a junk yard by now with all its problems. I'm literally at the dealer at least once every two weeks for this or that BS. Tuesday will make it 4 times in the past month.

05 6mt coupe - 41,xxx miles - daily driver

at 15,000 or so miles i got a new engine burned too much oil i am still going through the oil consumption test and i am in the running for another new engine (so the service manager say's). my clutch seems stick every know and then by sticking i mean it stays down and pops up by itself or i use my foot to help it back up. the dealer said they could duplicate it so i showed them a video i made of it on my phone. other then that i love driving it every chance i get.
