Strut bars are not the same as the GT Spec braces.

That is why I commented about strut bars.

So, has anybody figured out if multiple braces fix this issue? I'm assuming it would require more then just underbody braces to keep the unibody from flexing.

Nope, I'm still waiting to hear on this. I may attack the headliner removal one day at work with the help of one of the guys there. he printed out a front bumper removal picture for me so I'm sure he can do the same for the headliner.

I am having a rattle that sounds like a woodpecker in my sunroof. Can that be this? Will they fix it for free at the dealer? Is this a recall?

Is the "Woodpecker" noise when the sunroof is in motion? If it is, the G is notorious for the 3 bolts that hold the sunroof motor in getting loose. My sunroof got stuck mid close and I found 2 of the 3 bolts completely out. You can access them by removing the sunroof switch/light assembly.

I noticed something similar last night when I was detailing my car. As I was wiping my sunroof area the roof easily flexes and made a popping noise. It is either the sunroof assembly is popping off the flexing roof or the flexing roof is making that noise. It does not really bother me...I don't hear it when driving and sunroof is not leaking so its no big deal. I thought it was interesting since someone here mention it could be the sunroof popping.

Hmmm..... this may be it..... Is it easily accessible when you remove the switch? How hard is the switch to get out? I hear a rattling...but it sounds like its coming more from the passenger side rail.
