as for pictures, sorry guys no pictures until the final is done.. those locally have seen the car and can tell you its pretty clean for the amt of work done.. its not too crazy like some of the 350z widebodys.. its a little less agressive then the APR

 

it's should be out of the bodyshop this week and to the interior place next week. .. Give me a couple of weeks and I should have it back in one piece

 

Eric, just drive the car it doesn't make sense to turn the car into a trailer queen because of the so called "rules of the road". Just respect the laws and they will respect you. As much as I hate displaying a front plate I had no choice either show it or be owned every few blocks. Same thing for tint bro. I know a lot of people want their privacy but you are dealing with people who put their lives on the line on daily basis and are very cautious. I get nervous when people with super black tints pull up next to my ride at the lights.
Here where I live I get stares just off of the wheels on my G and even a few police officers have given me the thumbs up as well. I had one tell me that he is quite surprised that I don't have a violation of any type from all of the mods that I have especially for the front plate. I simply told him I had my fair share of "no front plate", "exhaust" and "ride height" violations.

yeah dump the carbon fiber, the custom color..look what happened to g352nv...he gave up his car..I think it was because the cops kept stressing him..its no fun when you always have to worry about tickets.plus its a daily driver..your more prone to attention and tickets..but to each their own

 

eric, i'll trade cars with you...i can deal with the cops and tickets.

DPE is working on the barrows and lip right now.. I think I might go with different wheels after this season.. the design of the DPEs arnt giving me the lip I want.. and I ended up goign with 11.5 instead of 12" rims. I had the choice of running 12s with negative or 11.5 with perfect alignment..

on the side note do you need a 325/25/20 PS2s? if so I have them for sale CHEAP and brandnew but mounted - 0 miles.

I'm going to hold off on the other MODs til I figure out what to do with the audio.. its going to Scott at Relentless next and I'll be missing SEMA 07 as well as HIN LA but I'll be ready by the AutoFashion VIP show.

Anyword on JDM_G35's car? I want to see that Turbo Charged Carbonfiber monster.

And lastly I'll never trailer my car for show only.. I dispised the TrailerQueens.. whats the point of having a 1,000hp monster if you only drag it to shows and never to the track. or having a "500whp street car" thats never street driven o.o you can tell which cars are show and which cars are driven at any show and as a judge I'd look at that as well. As well as functional performance parts to performance.. But at the same time I know guys who built insane 700whp cars with a paint job that makes it too costly to see the track =\

^^I wanted 325 ps2's for the longest and they were backordered like a **** so I decided to switch to Pirelli P Zero Nero's. PM me your asking price for the tires and I might buy them for future use..haha..Dang Eric, I remember your previous thread about the stress ur g has given you BUT hang in there since you've been soo dedicated for the longest. I gave up on my g awhile back but decided to take the plunge once again after seeing numerous projects of G members on this forum and etc..

 

I don't get the front plate ticket....I've been pulled over once by a small town cop as I was driving through (at the speed limit thank god for my V1) and he asked where my front plate was. I told him there wasnt a front plate holder to attach a plate to and he looked and just said, oh. have a good day.

but what do u do when u have no front license plate holder/bracket??? like on the 05-06's.

 

a off duty police officer just got hired at my work to be a part-time security guard. he saw my car, and was so dumbfounded by my mis-matched rims and how it looked like i was ready for a track, he gave me two thumbs up.

Now i talked him into writing off all the fix-it tickets i had on my car that i just left in my house for 3 months. "3 no front plate + 1 tint" = $400. Now its $40.
