Front tint and no front plate are a ticking bomb. It's only a matter of time before you get pulled over. FMIC is even worse, hood pop, ref...PITA. Some cops are cool, but it only takes that one bad one to screw you over.

Any kind of flashy blue is like donuts to a cop, they can't resist...it's almost like having red.

Cali sucks. I try to keep my cars as stealth as possible. If my family wasn't here and I didn't surf, I'd move.

I'm guessing it is just because you are in CA, but I don't see any reason you should be ticketed except for the lack of front plate and the tint. Can you not have a FMIC there? Not sure what the big concern is behind that and your other mods, assuming they are compliant with all local laws.

No FMIC is PERFECTLY LEGAL: see Evos, Mercedes FI Cars, BMW 335 Coupe, SRT-4, etc.. Cops arnt dumb my friend, they know when a car is suppose to be turboed and when a car isnt.

yeah I'M READY TO KILL THIS CAR LOL the barrel and dish of the rims are getting re-made as we speak should be ready next week and I have to track down some tires next week as well.

The tire sizes are
255/35/20
295/25/20 =(((( (PS2s do not make 305s) I guess I'm going with P-Zero next round.

My ideal tire size would be 305 but i CAN run 325 (probably have to get a falken tire) or ALOT of negative camber.

Anyways I've reduced the wheel size from 20x12 in the rear to 20x11.5. No this isnt going to kill me and cause under steer actually alot of the cars (lambo porsches m6) run a tire size similar to this.. this is why we have adjustable sway bars and tower struts so we can even out the understeer/over steer as well as alignment =)

Like I've mentioned above.. Scott from relentless is getting this car as soon as the exterior is done. Then after that going to work on the exterior and audio.. probably not much audio as I'm actually fine with the OEM system just would like a touch screen headunit..

I'm aware that other cars run stock IC's, but you seem to be pretty hung up on getting the extra attention. As long as you drive responsibly and your mods are compliant with local laws and ordinances, you should not have a problem. The only thing you have mentioned so far that is a ticketable offense is the lack of front plate and illegal tint. But I'm sure you knew that when you made those mods. Cheers.

Eric,

I believe that the color of your car is the #1 reason that you're having problems. My car is a perfect example...Fully built Black Obsidian 04' Coupe. Here are some of my mods:

-Fully built motor(rods, pistons, cams, headwork, etc....)
-JWT BB700 TT Kit
-Recaro SPG Bucket Seat
-5 Point Roll Cage
-Defi Gauges on A-Pillar
-SurfaceModz Front Lip
-19" Super Rozzas
-JIC Suspension, lowered 2"
-Custom 3" true dual exhaust w/test pipe(extremely loud)

I've had my car for three years and the only time I've been pulled over was for a speeding ticket. Your car color is eye-catching and black just blends in better.

I've only had the JWT kit and OEM bumper w/lip setup for the past two months, but before that I had a TS Front Bumper and custom Vortech Kit that was honestly the loudest setup/car I've ever heard driving on the street. I had that setup for almost 2 years without any meetings with the police or fix it tickets. Plus, I live in Aliso Viejo(South Orange County) where the O.C. Sherriff's main station(at least 50 units there) is located. You cant drive more than a block without seeing 2-3 cops.

The only thing's you can really do that might help are repaint your car, raise it up a little bit or at least go with a different bumper setup at least.

Good luck.

Another good point. You're driving style and the streets/routes you decide to take have a lot to do with attracting attention that will lead to getting tickets.

Another thing is that.. if u pay attention to the end of the months.. there are more cops out than usual.. they need to meet there monthly numbers and to do this.. they will pulled anybody over for any ridiculous reason and especially modded cars... well it is around my area.. but keep up the great work u have done with ur G..

eric you shouldn't even be complaining. remember i got pulled over second day i got my tint and my car was bone stock other than that. i'm not even gonna mention how many tickets i've gotten for front plate or tint. california tint's done at least 4 retints for me and before that i had a buddy at the sheriff station who wrote them off for me. i got a lot of them from the norcal-socal drive though because of attention from the blue tape (kinda like the color of your car )

to sum it up... i have almost a dozen tint/plate tickets and just one speeding (37 in a 25 ).

Around here they are pretty cool with tint (so far....knock on wood) but I had to put a front plate on because they are horrible around here for it. I got pulled over 3 times in a 1 month span and said screw it and put it on.
