"Skyline" rebadge question-different one

In that thread somewhere here about the black sedan, crashed and bought by another new member...well, I noticed the sedan was rebadged as a Skyline 350GT. Got me thinking. I thought the whole reason people want to rebadge the coupe's is because the 350GT/Skyine IS the same as the coupe.

Is the sedan a Skyline in Japan also? Just curious.

I would never rebadge my car. It's an Infiniti, nothing else.

in japan, the sedans were 250GT, 300GT, 350GT, or 350GT-8 as they came in a variety of engine sizes as well as the CVT in the top-of-the-line version

i guess you haven't the metal VIN plate in your engine bay that says "NISSAN MOTOR CO." or the VIN decal on the driver side doorjam that states "MANUFACTURED BY NISSAN MOTOR CO."

our cars are made by nissan and rebadged as infiniti to be sold overpriced here in the states.

whether or not you choose to believe our cars, infinitis, are better/worse than the jdm models, nissans, is up to you.

honestly, now. what makes our infinitis better than the nissan skylines that would make you believe that our car is an infiniti an nothing else? is it the analog clock?

the whole reason toyota, honda, and nissan created their luxury lines is so they can (imo) mark up the price.

this topic has been beaten to death.
