People who rebadge...do you do the seats also?

Hey everyone who did rebadging on their cars...Ive seen alotta rebadging pics of the back...the grill...the steering wheel...the clock...etc. I may have missed it but Ive never seen a picture of anyone doing the seats. You guys might've talked about this but I was talking to my friend today and we were curious if any of you who rebadged the car did anything to the seat embroidaries.

How about the emblem on the center carpet divider in the back (for coupes)?

I seem to remember that you can order a JDM trunk mat with the SKYLINE logo. I'll get one sooner or later. The seats are too much trouble and the Infiniti logo is so small nobody ever notices it is there (I have willow seats so the the white logo doesn't stand out very much).

An easy way around it is to keep the NISSAN emblem off the car. Dont touch the interior of the car, just add this to the rear...

And this on the front...

That way you dont have to worry about changing every infiniti sign to a nissan sign. You can do the door dam panels to becuase the JDM ones just say skyline and not NISSAN

PS: This is what im in the process of doing

ok I've never understood this. Isn't this the same as a civic putting vtec on his car or type R on an integra??? Am I missing something, I know our cars are the base for a skyline, but AFAIK the skyline is set to be more powerful, lighter, and a better performance car than the g35 coupe. So why rebadge? This isn't a 3000 dollar rice rocket.

*sigh* the guy just wanted to know if anyone changes their seats..do a search and you'll find plenty of arguments over the skyline emblems.

I don't really care for rebadging, but if you're going to do some of it, you should go all the way. Otherwise it is not consistent and defeats the purpose of transforming your car into a JDM 350GT.

You've already wasted $200 on badges, you might as well waste $300 more on getting the seats and carpet re-done.

NOOOOO!!! Please don't hi-jack this thread!!! There are plenty of other threads to find out you have a Skyline. Do a search with the keyword "rebadge", and make your own educated decision. And you're right..."This isn't a 3000 dollar rice rocket", I think it cost more than that

I believe the question was what to do about the seats. Swap'em, or get some kind of seat covers. There really is no easy solution, but if your going JDM, please do it right...not rice
