One of my very good friend will be getting me a seat belt clip specifically design to eliminate the painful neck rubbing of the drivers side seat belt. Appearantly, you clip this piece of device 4 to 5 inches away from where the metal portion of the shoulder strap clip into the holder and what this clip does is it will shift the shoulder strap 2" to 4" inches to the left, thus removing that annoying painful rubbing of the shoulder belt. I was told that it is perfectly safe and meets all safety regulations. The best part is that is it is adjustable and it will permanately stay it its set spot so that you don't have to re-adjust it every time you get into to your car, also the best part is that everytime I get into my G, I sometimes have to reopen the door again to take in my driver's seat belt because it is often too long and gets stuck in the door when I open and close the door. Anyways, I can't wait to receive it. I was told it cost about $20.

I have heard of people complaining about the neck rubbing thing.... How short are the people that are complaining about this out of curiousity? I am 6' 0" and have absolutely no problem.

I bought one and have been using it in my g for a few months. Mine is a black plastic clip. I picked it up at Wal-mart for like $3 for a two pack. It makes the selt belt slightly more bearable, but it wasn't the remedy I was hoping it'd be.

 

it was annoying as hell when i 1st got the car... but i got used to it... it doesnt bother me any more

 

Your getting ripped off at $20 a pop. You can get that thing at walmart or in some pepboys stores for I think $3-5. It's not a final solution but it helps somewhat.
