Finally arrived!!

Dealer at infiniti/Norwood called and said the car is ready. Signing contracts tommorrow and picking up the car a day after. But the problem is ITS SNOWING WEDNESDAY! Out of all the days it snow, it has to be on the day I pick up the car. They forecasted about a foot so I don't think I'll risk driving it in those conditions with Michelin Pilots. Damn NE weather. BTW, just put in the order for iForged rims. Another 6-8 weeks and I'll be rollin............

19's Brushed Alum Flux - I live in Boston where theres potholes within potholes so going with 20's wouldn't be a good idea. I was going to get retro's but since it had so many spokes I guess it be hard to clean. 6-8 weeks I will post pics.

Re: Finally arrived!!

congrats.
but i think you're doing the right thing by not picking it up in a snow storm. if you do, you are driving a car you're not familiar with, that is not know for it's prowess in the snow. then, when you get it home, it'll be dirty as heck.

04 6mtC, DG - possibly most babied G on the board.

Re: Finally arrived!!

Definitely, wait to pick it up because it takes a few days to get used to even on dry streets. It is snowing like crazy here in Chicago and my slip light and vdc is constantly working. Almost got stuck in a parking lot yesterday with 2 inches on the ground.....it is pretty crazy. I had a 6 cyl. fiero in high school and the G handles worse! Too much torque even letting the clutch out slowly at a stop because those pilots are like slicks.

Re: Finally arrived!!

Congrats will!! Although I saw you in school today, hehe. i would leave it there til this weekend and pick it up once the snow blows over. Don't forget, it's muchhhh different in the snow than your FWD car.

Take care!

Re: Finally arrived!!

i'd put it on a flat bed and brought to your house, most dealers have them, or they can get you a deal from someone local.
this way you can play with your nav and get to know it.
it would just kill me knowing my car was sitting at a dealer when it could be in my driveway.

Re: Finally arrived!!

Flatbed sounds like a good idea, after seeing what happened to fishbait's (correct me if i'm wrong) car, I don't want my car to run into a ditch. I'll check it out with the dealer. Thanks everyone.
