The gas mileage is about 17 city, 20 highway. Not the greatest, but it is supercharged and luckily isn't my daily driver.
My car is one out of 2,016 SRT6 Coupes in the world. The engine is hand built and the entire car is manufactured and assembled in Germany.
Yes, all cars have problems, but I ended up with a bitter taste from all the run-around. I wanted one of these when they first came out.
I'll be lurking around here I'm sure. I still love the G35s. Actually, thinking about a new sedan for the lady of the house.

Looks aside, my only beef with the Crossfire is it's smaller inside than even my 350Z, and that's not exactly cargo-friendly. I don't mind not carrying passengers, but when 2 people's luggage barely fits, that's kind of useless to me.
Sorry to hear you had so many problems with the G, I really haven't had anything more than minor annoyances. A big part of the appeal of the G to me in addition to the driving, performance, etc. is the utility of the car. I can actually take my wife and 2 kids somewhere, instead of leaving it in the garage any weekend we all go somewhere.
Drove the G35S Sedan, it really drives well, it's fast, smooth 6MT, it will definitely take some G37 would-be buyers away where the old Sedan would not. The new G37 is also just too heavy and the performance not there for the large additional HP bump over my '04 Coupe and the Sedan - the new sedan in S trim and maybe even X trim is just as fast, or so close it doesn't matter.
I'm not thrilled to see that replacing the V35 model, I won't buy a 3700 lb coupe that barely outperforms my current Coupe, does worse on the skidpad, and has 300 extra lbs to haul through corners...

I could gap him just a little into the corners (for example, by carrying 55 mph in a corner marked 20 mph), and by braking later going in, have a little higher entrance and mid-corner speed, which was then completely obliterated by his exit speed. 400+ hp vs. 170 whp even with a sub-2400 lb track day car, no contest. The really impressive feat the SRT team pulled off with that vehicle is the handling - I wouldn't even put my G up against it on a backroad, the thing just sticks (and has HP to spare).
Have fun, I was looking at one myself, but to get one I'd have to ditch my '03 RAM 1500 which I really still need for other use - w/5 cars already, only so much room in the corral...enjoy!
*Ugh* That car defines the word ugly.
I "test" drove one a couple months back at some event Chrysler was having. I didn't get to drive it hard, but it was quite evident it didn't have the kind of power a base 350z does. I think it costs more and has less power than the Nissan. Further, the interior was just plain cheap and nasty to me.\\

The 350Z has 298HP, the Crossfire SRT-6 has 330hp, 310lbs/ft of torque. The car only weighs a little over 3000lbs. Show me a stock 350Z that runs 0-60 in under 5 seconds. As for the interior, the interior is very nice and elegant, easily on par with the Infiniti, especially the pre-2005 models. This car makes my 6MT feel like a heavy slug in comparison.

The only negative point about the car is the looks. For the money I think it's a great value compared to the G35 and 335i.P.S. I actually test drove the base model which was not up to par.
The base Crossfire is a slug IMO. D/C should have come out with the SRT-6 first. Unfortunately though, it came at too steep a price and too late to improve the sales of the XFire. Actually, I'm glad because I got one of the performance bargains of the century!
As for being ugly, it does have a lot going on, but I've had twice the positive comments about it than I did with the G. People actually make a point to follow me to ask about it. Not bad for a design that came out over 3 years ago! The G is beautiful, but is becoming very common like the 3 series.
