Does the grinding/rattling noise sound normal listen carefull for what im talking about

I've heard two ATI coupes and they both do not sound like that. Too much excessive metal to metal noise.

I hear two things:

1. I hear a belt out of alignment.
2. I hear bearing noise, most likely caused by #1.

Granted, I'm listening to a less than perfect recording on lousy laptop speakers, but there is something unmistakable about belt and bearing noise. The higher-pitched noise sounds like the side of the belt rubbing on a puley. Screw up a couple alternator installs and you'll learn this noise! Check the alignment of everything, make sure nothing is bent or shiming something out of alignment.

The lower-pitched oscilating sound seems to bearing noise to me. Just a hunch.

 

i think your right one of my pulley is giring up on one side of a pulley but i dont have a shimm do you know what i can use as a "makeshift" shim?

 

The high-pitched whine sounds comparable to the sound of my Vortech (perhaps a bit louder than mine), but there's a lower pitched metal rattle that doesn't sound right at all.

1. your cog belts maybe too tight (should be .4 for cog belts compared to .2 for the v belt)
2. you put oil in the blower right?
